The certificate course in global health was hosted by the Lagos State University Medical Students Association for the first time in Nigeria and West Africa at the Lagos State University College of Medicine. The course Director Don Eliseo Lucero-Prisno III took the 91 participants in attendance through the core concepts of global health. In attendance were students from different universities in Nigeria, Doctors, Pharmacists and foreign participants from Sudan. AB Global Health Initiative team also had a visit to the United Nations Information Centre, Ikoyi, Lagos, where we met the Director (Mr. Ronald Kayanja) and Mr. Oluseyi Soremekun (National Information Officer). We had extensive talks about the programs and outreaches organized by ABGHI and it’s in line with the SDGs.
